How to add Facebook Like Box to Blogger

In
this post I am going to show you the importance of Facebook LIKE box gadget and
how to add it to your blogger blog.

Let me explain why this LIKE box is so
important. If your reader likes a particular post of your blog or if he/she
likes your blog he can click on this LIKE button. Then this will appear in
Facebook. Simply the friends of that particular person will see what your
reader likes. Then they will also look in to your site. This will in turn
increase the number of visitors to a page.

Now you know why this Facebook LIKE box
gadget is so important. Let me explain the trick to add this LIKE Box gadget to
your blogger blog

1. First
you need to create a Facebook fan page. So after you logged in to your account
and then go to this URL http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php

2. After that you will see several
categories to select one as shown following screen shot. Select a category
closely related to your blogging topic.

3. Then follow the steps and complete
the all 3 steps and make your Fan page

4. After completing those three
steps you will see the following screen shot. And then click on the “EDIT PAGE” button on
the top right corner of the page as I shown below

5. Then click on “RESOURCES” at
the left side bar and then click on “USE SOCIAL PLUGINGS” as I shown below

6. Then
scroll down the page and select “LIKE BOX” (Not Like button) as I shown in
screenshot below

7. Then
you will see the following screen. Give your page URL to the space for “Facebook
Page URL” as I shown below. And customize other settings as your wish.

8. Then click on “GET CODE” at the bottom of the
form

9. Now copy the code. It is better
to copy the iframe code (First code)

10. Now go to your DASHBOARD
>> DESIGN >> ADD A GADGET >> HTML/JAVA SCRIPT

11. Paste the code you copied in
step 9.

12. Then SAVE your new gadget

That’s
it. Now you added a Facebook Like Box to your blogger blog. View your blog and
enjoy.
