WordPress is considered by many to be the best blogging platform available on the Web. This free software enables anybody who desires to to create a website or blog either for personal expression use, to promote a company, or for internet marketing use. It is frequently given the accolade of being the most reliable and user-friendly of its kind of software, making it an ideal choice for beginning bloggers and experience internet marketers alike.
There are many advantages of using WordPress for the development of your website or blog. Each of these benefits will have varying degrees of importance depending on the specific goals you have for your blog or website.
Easy to Learn
Web design and website building are complicated topics that can be extremely difficult to learn, and even more difficult to implement effectively. Even those products that are intended to guide you through the process can be confusing and take a long time to really master. WordPress is not like this. As long as you have basic computer abilities you can handle creating and managing a website or blog through WordPress.
This ease of learning and use extends to developing the look and feel of your website or blog. Utilizing tools called “themes” you can use an already-designed layout with your determined level of customization so you are sure that your site will look professional and organized. WordPress templates ensure that you can develop a site that will be geared toward your niche and change it as you see fit.

Up-to-Date
As a blogger it is your goal to build a readership and become increasingly popular. As this happens, however, your blog will become more open to being spammed, hacked, or otherwise compromised. If you do not have extensive technical skills you may worry that you won’t be able to keep your blog protected against these threats.
Fortunately, WordPress is constantly updated to meet the changing techniques of hackers and keep your blog safe. You have the option of making the updates yourself if you have the skill, but if you would rather you can change your settings so that your blog will be automatically modified whenever a new update becomes available. This can give you peace of mind knowing that your blog will be consistently up-to-date even if you don’t have time to check it.
Information Backups
If you are serious about your blog, particularly if you are a professional blogger or are building a blog to support another business venture, you will need to be serious about backing up that blog. There is always a chance that information could be lost, which can be devastating for a blogger. Instead of worrying about backing up each of your posts and changes yourself, you can rely on WordPress to back up the information for you. This way if you lose some or all of your content you will be able to retrieve it.
Plug-Ins
Plug-ins can be a blogger’s best friend. These software components enable you to add more features to your blog so that it is optimized to your specific needs. There is a wide array of plug-ins available so you can choose the ones that customize your blog for appearance, functionality, visibility, and other components.
A highly beneficial feature of plug-ins is the increased search engine optimization that can be achieved through appropriate utilization of these plug-ins. SEO is critical to building your readership and achieving visibility, both of which is what will lead to internet marketing success.
Flexibility
Bloggers, like all other website owners, sometimes change their minds regarding their hosting needs. While changing hosting is an option, it is often so complicated that a blogger will just settle for what they have just to avoid having to switch. This is not the case with WordPress hosting, which is very simple to switch to and offers additional benefits not available to those using another hosting option.

Both are amazing platforms. Earlier I used blogger for blogging. But later shifted my blog in to wordpress since it has more flexible plugins to customize it. But after updating the blogger platform, it has became a better as same as the WordPress. So my personal idea is both are great platforms to blog.
I am a blogger user and don’t use WordPress. But both these two blogging plateforms are fantastic.
